Production: Shooting The Rest

The other day we wrapped on filming for DROID! We ran into some difficulties, such as the abundant amount of noise in the school courtyard, which will be fixed in post production. Filming went smoothly however, and the movie has officially entered post-production. I've attached some behind the scenes shots from filming below.

Preparing (Level A): Website preparations

We've decided on the layout for the website! Right now there's not much on it, but the layout will be as follows:

Home:

This is gonna be the homepage, we'll have a spread image as a background, something just to add details to the site. A short trailer for the film will be posted at the center of the page and we'll welcome viewers to the site and our movie.

Synopsis:

Our synopsis page will contain a header similar to our postcard advertisement, and under will be the basic synopsis and at the bottom the full film.

Characters:

Pretty self explanatory, short character descriptions with pictures of the characters attached.

About Us:

Picture of us and little biographies.

Preparing (A Level): Website and Postcard

Today we began preparing the other parts of the A level project, which includes a promotional website and the beginning sketches of a postcard advertising. Our website is being made with weebly, which is a free platform to make websites, which will allow us to add a short trailer for the film, some background info on the characters, the setting, the plot, and ourselves. We'll also be making a postcard advertisement, which is still in planning stages, but will include a sketched or drawn version of our main character MAC. We're thinking of doing the outline of his profile with an enhanced eye to add the "droid" effect.
